Patterson Rotary Club Hosts Its Annual "Touch-A-Truck For Heroes" on June 4, 2022 in Patterson
Patterson Rotary Club’s annual “Touch-A-Truck For Heroes” free event will take place on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 10am – 5pm (Rain Date: June 5). This year’s family fun event featuring music by “The Clams,” food, games a Petting zoo and Trucks will take place in the heart of Patterson. The Patterson Firehouse, Patterson Library and Cartwright & Daughters have generously donated their locations to host the amusements.
In addition, Patterson Rotary Club, has joined other clubs in the U.S. by launching its own Flags For Heroes program. Residents will have the opportunity to honor a service member, veteran or first responder (Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), paramedic, firefighter, and police officer), by sponsoring a flag in their name. As a lead in to “Touch-A-Truck For Heroes,” the flags will fly on Route 311 over Memorial Day Weekend. Flags can be ordered at the Patterson Library until May 26, 2022. All proceeds will support Rotary International’s “Do Good in the World” efforts.
