Men Who Cook 2020 had to be canceled this year due to the pandemic, but we hope you can still support us! Need a reason? Check out what happens when you donate!
Men Who Cook supports over $25,000 in giving annual. This includes food pantries, animal shelters, homeless shelters, at-risk youth, the arts and so much more.
Patterson Rotary provides $6,000 in college scholarships to area high school seniors.
Donations of gifts, food and money is provided to veteran and nursing homes, student initiatives and other smaller, member driven projects
Money supports school based events including camp scholarships, a pumpkin patch in the Bronx and funding for the only camp to support the rare XP disorder.
Many families in need receive donations of food, coats and other supplies. Area food pantries are stocked with meals and donations
Member based initiatives such as coat drives, promware for kids in need and community groups in need of funds or help to grow or retain services.
Men Who Cook - Why do we do it?
Men Who Cook is an annual fundraising event by the Patterson Rotary. This event normally raises enough money to support 25 local non-profits, scholarships and so much of our annual giving. The pandemic will certainly affect many in our area and we hope to once again be able to support the many more people that will be affected by this dramatic turn of events.
What is the Patterson Rotary?
The Patterson Rotary is a local rotary club of over 1 million rotarians worldwide who are committed to making their neighborhood and towns a better place to live. We have approximately 35 members in our club who volunteer to do everything from road side cleanup to put on large fundraising events. We meet three Tuesdays a month for breakfast at the Patterson Rec Center at 7:30 AM.
All are welcome to attend and join.
What is Men Who Cook
Men Who Cook is one of Patterson Rotary's large fundraisers. It is attended by close to 300 people with 40 chefs who volunteer their time and food to raise money for many local non-profit organizations. This year, the event has been canceled due to the pandemic so we are asking for your help and donations to support our mission.
