Flea Market Information for 2021

Patterson Rotary will be running the Flea Market on Route 22 in Patterson, NY

 

Come experience a Sunday of food, shopping, and fun at the Patterson Rotary Flea Market (formerly The Patterson Old Tyme Flea Market) every Sunday starting April 18th, 2021.  Bring the family and help us build and create a fun and creative space for our community and beyond. New vendors are welcome and should see the Vendor Information below.

  • Every Sunday Starting April 18th through October (Weather Permitting)

  • 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM

  • Free admission and parking

  • 3163 Route 22, Patterson, NY 12563 (The site of the Patterson Old-Tyme Flea Market)
     

The flea market is a smoke-free and pet-free event.  Service animals will be allowed. 

All New York State COVID rules and regulations are in effect, including social distancing and masks.  We reserve the right to limit entry due to COVID restrictions on outdoor events.

Vendor Information

The Patterson Rotary Flea Market is always looking for new vendors, food trucks, and artists.  To become a vendor please see the rules and regulations below, fill out a registration form and bring it with you each Sunday.

A completed vendor form is required to enter.  You can download it by clicking the blue-button above or at the bottom of this screen.

 

Rules

Set up

  • The flea market operates every Sunday from April 18th through October

  • Vendors may arrive and set up between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM. Vendors must be set up no later than 8:00 AM

  • Market hours are 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM

 

Arrival and Departure

  • You must be ready to sell at 8:00 AM

  • Vendors will be admitted on a first-come, first-serve basis and may not enter the grounds before that time. We do not save or pre-assign spots.

  • You cannot break down your event prior to 2:00 PM unless emergency or weather. You must make a Patterson Flea Market Manager aware of any early breakdowns. In the event of other issues or weather-related breakdowns, a Flea Market representative will instruct you to start breaking down early.  

Site Rules

  • You must keep all your goods inside your own space

  • You are responsible to collect all sales tax and handle your own transactions

  • Please label your items or provide contact information so that your customers can contact you in the event of an issue.  Excessive contacts of customers to the Flea Market may result in you not being allowed to sell

  • This is a clean space initiative.  Leave no trace when you have completed the day

  • No animals, tobacco, firearms, or illegal products can be sold

  • If you have a product that is fragrant, please be aware of allergies or other issues of the parties that surround you.  You will be responsible to handle an issue if contacted by a market manager

  • Animals, except for service animals, are not allowed

Site Assignments

  • We do not pre-assign or hold spaces. Spaces are designated on the day of the event as determined by the Market Manager on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • Do not enter the site prior to 6:30AM or before a Market Manager assigns a space

Payment

  • Payment is by cash only on the day of the event. Each space is $40 per day after Memorial Day. Prior to Memorial Day, each space is only $30 per day

 

Food Vendors

All food trucks and vendors must have any and all applicable licenses necessary to serve food. This includes all necessary Putnam County Department of Health approvals, licenses, and registrations. Where other approvals are required, you must be able to furnish appropriate licensing and registration information. 
 

COVID Regulations

  • All vendors are required to adhere to all New York State COVID Regulations

  • All vendors must have sanitizer available and must prioritize safety

  • Masks are required as defined by New York State guidelines
